Dear participants, a partial search R10 is over and we have placed links to its results on About RakeSearch page. Also, we want to say great thank you to all the project participants! To everyone who returned at least one correct result, we gave out a special badge with a bumblebee - as one of the symbols of distributed computing, when everyone is doing something themselves, helping the common cause. Is this the final? May be not! Who knows? P.S. And some statistics! Project performance during R10 search expressed in CPU time (in days) per day or number of active threads! |

Thank you for this overview. What fraction of the entire R10 search space has been covered so far? Given the fact that the optimized app has only been released very recently and allows for a significant improvement in computational throughput, wouldn't it make sense to keep Rakesearch running with this app to further expand the search space? The total number of workunits (if we try to generate them) must be 212963246290200. In this search, we generate 1024000 workunits - which is about 1/207971920 of whole search space. A full search is unreachable target at now. Even with new Ryzens. :) Thank you! |

You can begin R10(2) with other workunits in several years when DDR5 and 10nm CPUs will be released. |
