I just realized that, since approx. 1 hour, for my 4 core machine there is a daily task quota established of only 8 tasks:

This apparent server-wise setup leaves my systems idle for most of the day so that, unfortunately, I will have to look for a diferent project.
Are you runing out of work or what is the reason behind this?

Dear Michael, thank you for observation. It looks strange. I increased this value to 128.

Well, with approx. 1 hr of run time per task, on an 8-core machine, this also equals to only 16 hrs of continuos contribution to your project. Better further increase this value to 256. There are also server machines with >8 cores active, I guess.

We analyze, a list of top computers and could not find a problems with workunits for hosts with many cores. But we increase this parameter up to 256. :)
