It's a short workunits. About several minutes per task. |

Well if they are expected to be short .. they are not. They are loading into my system at 11 hours and taking longer. Bill F

Yeah, even the 24 hour deadline tasks are taking 24+ hours sometimes on my threadripper. It's not an old Pentium 4 or anything, the deadlines for these tasks are very poorly set up! |

Are you nuts? Yes just returned one that ran for just under 100,000 seconds and got zero points for it as it was too late to validate, well that was fun. Conan |

Yeah, I've had to abort many that are a waste. Admins please look into these tasks, something is way wrong: wu_e1074_n12_ls_t_spectrum_loop_exp5 I'm just preemptively aborting them now. |

Hi! Some of new workunits, like "wu_e1074_..._exp5" are very long and expected run time - too short. I have given a credit for all tasks like those, completed after deadline. Conan, you can check it. In next few days crunching of even more huge workunits are expected, but dealine will be extended. |

I don't really give a F if they are short. A 2 hour deadline means BOINC Mgr will interrupt ALL other task to run it. Some projects do not have any checkpoints and hours of work could have been wasted for 2 min of Rakesearch work. No deadline should be less than several days. |

I have a bunch of these tasks that don't seem to want to complete. They get to a point (80 - 90%), then reset into the 70s. Most are over 2.5 days now.

Up to 435773.60 for Ryzen 3900X with usage of 18 threads. Deadline for new tasks extended up to 10 days. By fact, for already sended tasks it also more that 1 week due to nature of tasks queue. |

Had over 40 of these and getting through them with only a few left out of that bunch, they pay well and are completing OK, so will keep grinding through them. Conan |
