Post: I was looking at the partner on a work unit and saw his credit. What is going on??? The credit on this project was about half of what it should be but 0.01 credit for a task is ridiculous for the time it took to complete. There are a lot of these across numerous volunteers, zombie and Mumps are 2 of these but others also, with the owner of computer 375 having quite a few of them. Run times appear normal for all. So a problem seems to be there somewhere. Conan |

Estimated run time is way to big

Post: My first WU on my AMD computers was 4,400+ hours estimated run time, but came down fairly quickly as it crunched. The second one downloaded showed about 3,000 hours. So the time is coming down as BOINC get to know how long they run. I know this can upset BM, however given time BM will get over it, you just have to wait for BM to catch up. Conan |

Unable to add a new computer.

Post: I have added 2 computers with no trouble, both 64 bit AMD and Linux Fedora 16 and 25. But try as I might I can not add my Intel 64 bit computer which is also running Fedora 25, keeps saying that the project is temporarily unavailable. I can't work out why, there is no anti-virus involved. Conan EDIT, don't worry, it turns out that SELINUX was working very well and blocking port 12179 from being accessed. Had to make an exception to get it working. All now seems OK. |
