DETAILS:
Laptop received 8 WU's.
There is no app_config.xml.
Rake Computing Preferences are 100% CPU, 100% time.
Rake 'Work' profile is unlimited cores and WU's.
Laptop BOINC preferences are set to use 50% of 16 (virtual) cores.
Only other project WU running is WUProp.
No other settings to limit WU to one.
SRBase was running 3 cores yesterday.

Uploaded an image at IMGBB; (not showing in preview).

It shows only 1 WU running while the other 7 have put in 9-10 hours. That means at some point they ran concurrenlty since they were received over the last 16 hours. (85 hours work in under 16).

QUESTIONS:

1)This is normal for Spectra or not?

If normal:
a) how did you program that?
and
b) why are you doing this?

Hello marmot!

Estimated duration for wu_1058_* tasks - is about 10..20 hours (depends on CPU of course).
16 threads * 50% = 8 simultaneously running tasks. Usage of only 1 thread - is not right. May be another restrictions or anything else in this case.

Good luck!

The laptop was using a non-local preference profile for 'When Computer is in Use' was set to 13% of CPU cores.

SRBase had been running 4 threads on 1 WU and so I had forgotten about multithreading SRBase in the app_config.xml

So assumed there were 4 WU's running on SRBase and Rakesearch running only one seemed baffling.

Finally took a close look and figured out the issue.

Thanks.
