Why is there a daily limit for this project of 270 jobs/tasks or whatever it is? Many of the jobs only take seconds to complete, which means I could easily do 1000's per day, even though I constantly have to redo many of them, since they won't upload. But please remove this daily limit, so the project can be completed faster.

I'm was pretty new to BOINC when I wrote this, so I accidentally hit the "try waiting jobs again" button instead of the update button, which of course made me have to redo so many jobs. So that part's fixed now.

But there is still this daily limit, which really annoys me, any update on it?

Limits are exists, but for tasks in progress or failed.

That's to do with your preferences. You can change this to set a higher limit or remove the limit all together

Select 'Edit Preferences'
Change 'Max # Jobs'

Limits exist because they don't want one person with a million cpu cores coming in and running all the tasks leaving none for anyone else AND so they get many people returning tasks to keep the data valid, ie one pc farm returns all the tasks. Yes there's a wingman but if I have a thousand pc's I could get both the original and the wingman task putting into question the validity of the data. YES Boinc has cheaters even today but they are being caught by the methods Boinc employs and the use of total task limits per user.
